In the biocondensates group, we engineer life-like materials arising from liquid–liquid phase separation. We employ techniques from bottom-up synthetic biology to develop dynamic, self-regulating supramolecular systems for applications in catalysis, drug delivery, and artificial cells. By combining synthetic materials with biological molecules, we aim to bridge the gap between materials and life.
