Marcel Boecker

Marcel studied Chemestry at the Johannes Gutenberg University, Mainz (Germany), and recieved his Master degree in 2020. He performed his master thesis in the group of Prof. Tanja Weil and focused on a polydopamine based hybdrid film for photocatalytic water splitting (Bio-inspired polydopamine-hybrid-films for the self-regulatory photocatalytic water splitting). In Mai 2020 he started his PhD at the MPIP with the research focus on the synthesis and characterization of catalytic active thin films and membranes.
