Christopher receives “Nachwuchsstipendium” of the Macromolecular Division of the German Chemical Society. His presentation on “Controlling Cell-Material Interactions through Responsive Supramolecular Assemblies” convinced the jury during the “Nachwuchsworkshop Hochschule”.

We are happy to have Maximilian Schuler back for his 3 month rotation as part of the Max Planck Matter to Life Graduate School. Looking forward to exciting work together with the De Laporte Group in Aachen!
Paper Accepted: Photocatalytic NAD+ Reduction using polydopamine-coated photosensitizers
Marcel together with our collaborators from the CataLight Transregio SFB have prepared polydopamine-coated particles for the photocatalytic reduction of NAD+ to NADH. The work is now accepted for publication in ACS Applied Nano Materials. more
Paper Accepted: Thin polydopamine films exhibit ultrafast photoactuation
Congrats to Tommaso and our collaborators at AMU in Poznan, Poland for their great work on the photoactuation of ultrathin polydopamine membranes. The work has just been accepted in Nano Letters. more
