Infrastructure
The NMR Core Facility plays a crucial role in the institute's direction across various scientific frontiers of sustainability, defect engineering, biomedicine, and synthetic biochemistry. The Facility houses a range of state-of-the-art NMR spectrometers for molecular structure analysis, characterization, and the investigation of dynamic processes in chemically and biologically relevant systems. The Solution NMR Team is actively involved in method development to address a multitude of interdisciplinary questions in close collaboration with various groups within the institute. Some examples include supramolecular assembly and at interfaces within the institute core topics (TRAI).
Internal service measurements include advanced 1D and 2D NMR techniques, structure elucidation, and kinetics studies, all provided by the NMR staff. Selected instruments can also be used in self-service after the required introduction by our staff. The available self-service instruments include the 400, 250, and 80 MHz spectrometers.
Service Measurements: Forms for NMR measurements can be found in the MPI-P intranet: forms for analytics and spectroscopy
Self-service: The 400/250/80 MHz instruments can be used in self-service after an introduction by our technical staff. Please contact Stefan Spang.
